A light-bodied beer with plenty of hop character produced by the Hallertau-style hop. Very easy to drink. Think Genessee. A light ale beer that tastes similar to a lager. Packed with flavor, this medium-bodied brew has a malty character surrounded by a nutty aroma with crystal malts providing good balance.

Brewer's Best - German Altbier Brewer's Best - Irish Stout Brewer's Best - German Oktoberfest
A favorite from Germany, an amber colored brew with a nice malty character, lightly hopped for true German beer flavor. A dark, roasty, creamy ale.  Although nearly black in color, this beer is medium-bodied and finishes dry from the roasted barley addition.  Maltodextrin creates a thick, long-lasting head. Amber color with a nice blend of light malt extract and crystal grains, medium-bodied, finishing with the Hallertau hop flavor.

A medium-bodied brew with a nice red hue. This recipe is as smooth as it gets. Nice balance of crystal malts and a touch of dark grain. A great dark ale combining crystal and chocolate malts for a great tasting brew full of flavor and body. Balanced with big body and plenty of hop character, this American style Brown Ale has a deep amber to brown color. The slight caramel and chocolate flavors are followed by a nutty aftertaste.

Brewer's Best - Scottish Ale
This recipe is designed after the most popular micro pale ales.  Good body, golden color and plenty of hops. Full-bodied with a blend of crystal and chocolate malt finishing with the full flavor of Fuggle hops.  Great mouthfeel, and full flavor. Munich and Chocolate malts combine to create a darker, maltier version than its lighter counterpart, Hefeweizen.  Dunkelweizen is amber-brown in color yet medium-bodied with a slightly sweet, bready flavor.  This ale produces the characteristic phenols and ester found in traditional Weizens with the addition of a speciality wheat yeast (included).

Brewer's Best - Kolsch
This beer can be enjoyed anytime to quench your thirst.  A light beer with the infamous hop character from the Czech Saaz hop. Kölsch is a crisp, clean, easy-drinking ale.  It has a straw-yellow hue similar to a pilsner, but is less hoppy, a bit sweeter and uses pale malts and a small amount of wheat. A light-colored German lager with malty profile.  Slightly sweet with just enough bittering hops to balance the malt.  This kit includes a lager yeast that will also perform well if fermented at ale temperatures.
Brewer's Best Vienna Lager Fermcap - S
Our Price: $38.00
Our Price: $5.95
Fermcap - S
Munich, Vienna and caramel malts combine to provide a rich malt aroma.  When lagered this beer will finish clean and dry with no fruity esters.  Vienna Lager is moderately hopped. This kit includes a lager yeast that will also perform well if fermented at ale temperatures. Fermcap S is a foam stability product.  It's used during the boil to prevent boil overs.  By using this product you can effectively boil 7 gallons of wort in a 7.5 gallon kettle without having to worry about boil overs.  Another plus to Fermcap S is that you can use it during primary fermentation and it will hold your krausen to 1/2 inch.  Which means NO BLOW OFFS!  Yay!  And don't worry, this won't affect head retention because it falls out of solution.  Use 1-2 drops per gallon of wort for boiling or fermenting.
